Michelle Obama Paints the White House Yellow

Jul25

Not since Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis took Washington by storm with her fashion-forward clothing has a political public figure garnered so much attention for her (or his, as the case may be) style.

And, if you read the paper, watch gossip television, or read fashion sites at all, you know a certain First Lady has been making headlines for quite some time for her fashion choices. Today was no exception.

As First Lady Michelle Obama paid homage to honorees at the 10th anniversary of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards, attendees including design, Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa looked on in amazement.

Decked in a sunshine yellow Michael Kors skirtsuit and lizard-skin pumps, Mrs. Obama looked absolutely stunning as she spoke about her fascination with the advancements of design.

Michelle Obama Wows the Inaugural Ball

Jan22

The Inauguration might have been two days ago, but it's never too late to post photos of celebs at the Inauguration. And it's never to late to say just how fabulous Michelle Obama looked as she donned a lovely one-shouldered, full-length, white Jason Wu gown at the Inaugural Ball. (By the way, I am henceforth capitalizing the "I" in "Inauguration" and "Inaugural.")

C'mon, the prez's lady is stunning! And this is our First Lady. I do believe that Mrs. Obama is doing nothing but improving the fashion industry by making designers like Jason Wu and Isabel Toledo (whom she wore to the Inauguration) household names.
