Ann Taylor Spring 2011 Lookbook

Oct25

Ann Taylor recently previewed the Spring 2011 collection at the Gramercy Park Hotel Rooftop in New York City, a lookbook that I just can't get enough of.

The collection is luxurious, romantic, and feminine and features yummy pieces in neutrals and nauticals. I am especially digging the jackets.

Zac Posen for Target Lookbook Preview

Jan15

I don't know what it is about Zac Posen that I love so much. Maybe it's how flawlessly he takes classic staples, and roughs them up a bit, without losing any of the pretty. Quite a feat, if you ask me. Unfortunately for my closet, lacking a little magic, ZP has never been within my budget. Until now!

The Zac Posen for Target First Lookbook is now available, thanks to the Fashionista who was among the first to see it and share it.

(Hate to tell you this, but you'll have to wait until April 25 to get a hold of this drool-worthy collection!)

Want to see the lookbook for yourself? Check out Fashionista's post here.

Femme for DKNY Jeans by Hilary Duff

Jul31

Unlike a lot of folks, I don't hate on Hilary Duff. In fact, out of all of the celebs I witnessed pre-catwalk prepping at the Red Dress Heart Truth Show during NYFW Fall 2009, I was most excited to see Hilary.

So, it goes without saying, that I'm actually kind of looking forwarded to the release of her collection for DKNY Jeans called Femme.

The pieces of this collection, which will be released in August, will range from $39 to $129. Just in time for Back-to-School shoppers, and Duff's small screen debut as Olivia Burke on CW's Gossip Girl.

All-New NARS Fall 2009 Collection

Jul18

Fall’s runways were dominated by two words: bold and feminine. Strong shouldered and form-hugging silhouettes, extreme heels and provocative thigh-high boots, and a color palette of classic hues turned up a notch to Technicolor volumes. These trends also illustrate the NARS Fall collection.

“For this collection, I wanted to create something fragile and strong, and seductive but not aggressive,” said François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics. The combination of strength and refinement has become a hallmark of NARS, and is particularly fitting this season as the brand celebrates its 15th anniversary.

NARS Fast Ride Lipstick - $24

NARS Tokaido Express - $16

NARS Silk Road Duo Eyeshadow- $32

NARS Brumes Duo Eyeshadow- $32

NARS Indian Summer Duo Eyeshadow- $32

NARS Mekong Single Eyeshadow- $22

Blaze It Up and Get Baked

Apr20

I've always admired Urban Decay for their ability to cleverly, and yet appropriately, bestow clever names upon their latest products. (See Pocket Rocket, for instance. I recommend James!)

There latest release is no exception.

The Get Baked Eyeshadow Pallette, features colors from the popular "Baked" collection with four stunning shades that would look beautiful on anyone: three neutrals - Baked, Half Baked, and Twice Baked - and a teal shade that's caught my eye, Flipside. AND, included in the pallette are trial-size versions of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils or Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Warning: This pallette will definitely make you light up...a room!
